‘I loved it! It’s got a kind of Bridget Jones feel and such a page turner. Great fun but with such a beautiful heart. I’ve already cast the film/series in my head!’
‘Warm, engaging, with a real lightness of touch. Losing the Plot is such a fun read.’
Elizabeth was born in Taree in north coast New South Wales, where her father Greg was a local vet and her mum June was a glutton for punishment, giving birth to five kids in five years.
Elizabeth and her twin brother Greg came along eleven months after Marianne, followed by their sisters Jackie and Stephanie. Several years later another brother, David, arrived.
The Colemans moved to Camden outside Sydney when Elizabeth was seven, and that’s where she wrote her first ‘novel’ (ie. six pages in an old exercise book).
